After 5 years of training, I qualified with a BSc (hons) in Humanistic Integrative Counselling & Psychotherapy. The degree was accredited by the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and I am an accredited member of the BACP. I also hold a certificate in Counselling Young People aged 11-18.
Before starting my career in counselling, I was a support worker for 10 years in a homeless hostel. I then spent 3 years working as a home healthcare assistant, supporting vulnerable adults.
I have volunteered at a 6th form college as a student Counsellor and at a charity supporting carers and the cared for.
I aim to provide a safe, friendly and non-judgemental space for you to explore what’s bothering you. I’ll help you explore and understand your issues so you can reach a place that’s comfortable for you.
I’ll ask questions to deepen my understanding of you and your experiences to help you get the most out of your sessions.
